Featured Charity: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital is world renown for helping underprivileged children get the critical, life-sustaining care they need. Payment is by donation only, which means that sick, disadvantaged children can get the critical care they need, even when the cost of care is beyond their family’s means.
St. Jude leads some of the world’s most important cancer research programs, and has worked for decades to improve childhood cancer survival rates. St. Jude helps current cancer survivors to live longer lives, while researching ways to optimize the health and longevity of future generations.
Thanks to improved therapies, more than 80 percent of US children with cancer now become long-term survivors. An estimated 420,000 childhood cancer survivors live in the US alone, with many more around the world. As the late founder said: “No child should die in the dawn of life.” To learn more about St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and to contribute to a very worth cause, please visit their website and consider donating generously.
Featured Charity: Hands of God Foundation
BigFish Capital is a proud supporter the Hands of God Foundation, a non-denominational, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The foundation was established in 2006 in Fairhope, Alabama to raise financial support for an abandoned-children’s home in San José, Costa Rica.
The children living at the home have been legally declared abandoned under guidelines of PANI (the government child welfare agency in Costa Rica). They remain under the care and protection of the Hands of God Foundation and are being raised in a model Christian environment — to save them from additional hardships and to provide hope for a better future. Big Fish Capital has agreed to regularly supply essential items for the children’s welfare and looks forward to a long and wonderful relationship with this worthy organization.
